Sky Meadows State Park, Virginia – November 2014

The FBC braved the cold and wind but were rewarded with several species of sparrows as well as Red-headed Woodpeckers and Rusty Blackbirds.

Craney Island, Norfolk, Virginia – August 2014

The FBC visited a new spot and enjoyed the mystery and variety of shorebird migration at Craney Island.  Treats were good looks at Sora, Wilson’s Phalarope and Red-necked Phalarope.  And many members got life birds!
